The LGH Campaign – for Life Changing Care
We’re raising $7 million to change the way every person who walks through the doors of Lions Gate Hospital experiences local health care.
Thanks to generous donors throughout our community, the North Shore Hospice Expansion Campaign was able to raise $2.364 million to expand our Hospice into a hub for palliative care services, but the need continues. Please consider supporting our Hospice and Palliative services so we can continue to cover ongoing costs of running our Palliative Outpatient Clinic.
Thanks to generous donors throughout our community, the Fluoroscopy Campaign was able to raise over $1.125M to purchase a new dual fluoroscopy/X-ray unit that will increase our X-ray capacity and dramatically reduce wait times for our patients and speed up diagnoses.
Thanks to generous donors throughout our community, the Youth Mental Health Campaign was able to raise over $5M to build the Carlile Youth Concurrent Disorders Centre.
Thanks to generous donors throughout our community, the 2015 LGH Equipment Campaign was able to raise $1.15M to provide our doctors with the state-of-the-art medical tools and technologies they need to improve outcomes and save lives.
Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were able to raise the $2.5 million needed to purchase a new low radiation CT Scanner for LGH. The new scanner arrived in mid-2015.
HOpe has arrived at LGH. In fall 2014 we opened the new $62 million Greta and Robert H.N. Ho Psychiatry and Education Centre (The HOpe Centre) – a visionary facility that has transformed the delivery of mental health and addiction services on the North Shore.
The dedication of donors, coupled with the generosity of Dr. Philip Cohen, has enabled us to complete our $1.5 million Nuclear Medicine Campaign and bring two hybrid SPECT/CT gamma cameras to our Nuclear Medicine Department in 2015.
