She received her BA degree from Simon Fraser University. Selina has been a long-serving board member of the North Shore Hospice Society, and was part of the capital fundraising campaign in 2007 to build the first hospice on the North Shore. As owner and operator of Stittgen Fine Jewelry, she is highly engaged with the North Shore community and its residents. Her business has won various awards, including 2018 Small Business of the Year, and she has used the West Vancouver store as the venue for several fundraisers for the hospice and the hospital.
