11th Annual Wine and Culinary Gala
Lions Gate Hospital Foundation Wine and Culinary Gala raises $1,044,000! (net)

Lions Gate Hospital Foundation's 11th Annual Wine and Culinary Gala was held on Friday, May 6. With the support of our donors, sponsors and guests we raised $1,044,000 (net). Proceeds from this year's event have been designated towards the Foundation's campaign to raise $2.5M to build a new Centre for Mental Health and Addictions at Lions Gate Hospital.
The five-star event was held at Capilano Golf and Country Club and started with a reception and silent auction. Guests then enjoyed a four-course dinner paired with Painted Rock wines while taking part in a spectacular Live Auction. Bill Good served as emcee and guests danced the night away with Nearly Neil.

15th Annual Golf Classic
Lions Gate Hospital Foundation Golf Classic raises $386,500 (net)!

Our 15th Annual Golf Classic was held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Capilano Golf & Country Club in West Vancouver with 144 players in attendance. The event raised $386,500 (net) towards the Foundation's $25M campaign to build the new Greta and Robert H.N. HO Psychiatric and Education Centre (the HOpe Centre). This achievement was made possible with the generosity of our ‘Presented by’ sponsor Locker Evers International.
