The Tribute Gift Program provides an opportunity to recognize someone who has made a difference to you or touched your life in some special way. These gifts are a thoughtful way to remember the passing of a loved one or to celebrate special occasions such as a birthday, wedding, anniversary, retirement or graduation.
Tribute Gifts may be designated to the Foundation’s area of greatest need or to another area or program of your choice.

Margaret Fulton Day Care Center, North Shore Hospice, West Vancouver Day Centre.
A gift in memory of someone special is a thoughtful and caring way to express
sympathy while helping to make a difference to health care in your community.
All donations given in memory of an individual will be gratefully acknowledged
by Lions Gate Hospital Foundation to the next of kin. The amount of your
gift will be kept confidential and you will receive a tax receipt for your
donation.
Memorial gifts receive recognition in one of two categories. For memorial
gifts totalling $5,000 or more, the person memorialized will be recognized in
perpetuity on our ‘In Everlasting Memory' donor wall.
For gifts totalling between $1000 - $4,999, the name of the person memorialized
will be shown on our 'In Honour' donor wall for one year. The
next of kin will be notified regarding the recognition policy.
A Special Occasion gift is a unique opportunity to let family members, friends
or colleagues know that you are thinking of them on a birthday, wedding,
anniversary, retirement, graduation, holiday or other memorable occasions.
When your gift is received, we will send a special notification card to
the person being honoured. The amount of the donation is kept confidential
and you will receive a letter of acknowledgment and a tax receipt for your
gift.
The donor wall recognition program is based on cumulative gifts for a minimum
annual gift of $1,000. We would be pleased to include the honouree’s
name on the donor wall for one year. The honouree’s name can progress
from one category to the next with additional gifts received.
