The 12th Annual Golf Classic held on June 23, 2008 raised $417,000 (net). This achievement was made possible with the support of all of our sponsors, auction and raffle donors whose combined generosity continues to truly exceed the Foundation's expectations.

Special thanks are due to an anonymous donor, our ‘presented by’ sponsors Michael and Joy Phelps, and the late John Chaston for sponsoring the Wt. Officer Lionel G. Chaston RCAF Memorial Cup.

The $417,000 raised at the tournament will be put toward the Foundation’s $3.5-million Angiography Suite Campaign, to replace aging technology with new equipment that will help the radiologists keep up with the increasing demand for interventional radiology procedures. 

It's never too early to plan for next year

Our tournament’s reputation as a first class event in an outstanding venue attracts members of our medical staff, business and community leaders and golf enthusiasts.  Each year we sell out quickly as participants see the tournament as an opportunity not only to enjoy the acclaimed Capilano Golf Course but also to support Lions Gate Hospital Foundation.
