In 2006 - 2007, through the generosity of individuals and organizations an amazing $10.3 million was donated to the Foundation. Since 2005, the community has given more than $20M to the Foundation in support of the capital needs of Lions Gate Hospital, the public health care facilities (including Cedarview Lodge, Cedar Garden, Evergreen House, Kiwanis Care Centre, Margaret Fulton Adult Day Centre, West Vancouver Adult Day Centre) and community health and mental health programs. These funds result in faster diagnosis and treatment, shorter waiting lists and less emotional and physical discomfort for patients and their families.
