We value all of our donors. We personally thank and honour you for your support throughout the year in various ways.
Donor Walls
One of the ways we say thank you is through public recognition on our donor walls. We proudly display the names of donors who have made cumulative gifts of $1,000 or more in the following recognition categories:
Visionaries ......$1 million or more, over 15 years
Benefactors.....$ 500,000-$999,999, over 10 years
Leaders...........$ 100,000-$499,999, over 7 years
Patrons............$ 25,000-$99,999, over 5 years
Contributors...$ 5,000-$24,999, over 3 years
In the Spirit of Giving
Donors who give annual cumulative gifts of $1,000 or more are recognized on the Spirit of Giving Donor Wall for one year.
Legacy Society
Our Legacy Society honours those special friends who have made a provision for a gift to Lions Gate Hospital Foundation through a bequest, life insurance, endowment, RRSP or RRIF or trust arrangement.
The establishment of the Legacy Society affords an opportunity for the Foundation to extend a warm thank you to individuals who notify us of their thoughtful gift intentions. We also look forward to speaking with you about how your future gift will be designated and how you wish to be recognized.
If you have already arranged for such a gift, we would appreciate knowing about it. If not, we invite you to consider a bequest or other future gift provision.
Legacy Society members will be:
- our guest at an annual recognition event; the Chairman’s Tea.
- invited to private receptions and tours hosted by the Foundation.
- included on the donor wall located in the main lobby of the Hospital.*

Tribute Gift Donor Walls
In Honour The name of the person being honoured or remembered will be recognized for one year, when cumulative donations total $1,000 or more.
In Everlasting Memory The name of the person being remembered will be recognized in perpetuity, when cumulative donations total $5,000 or more.
Recognition on the donor walls is based on cumulative giving between April 1 and March 31. The donor wall is updated in the spring of each year.
