Endoscopy Campaign

Gate Hospital Foundation is grateful for the support of North Shore residents
and community members as a $3.5 million campaign to relocate, renovate, and
equip a dedicated new Endoscopy Unit at LGH is now completed. The new Unit will
increase patient access to treatment for gastrointestinal diseases and colon
cancer screening, as well as improving the quality of care offered by the
endoscopy team.
The
Unit will have allocated space for patients to be admitted, cared for and
allowed to recover in a separate area dedicated to Endoscopy. It will include
three procedure rooms, a dedicated recovery area, a family waiting area and a
functional unhindered Decontamination Room.
