Board of Directors

Yvonne joined the Board in 1986 as one of the our first Directors. She served 9 terms, including one year as Chair from 1992-1993. Yvonne had a busy term as Chair. It was the year in which the highly successful 9-1-1 Relay was launched – the Relay became a flagship event for the Foundation raising more than $1M for Emergency Services during its 10 year run.

Two other large events were also held under Yvonne’s leadership - the Flight for Life Gala and the Designs on Doctors and Nurses Fashion Show. She was instrumental in recruiting future directors and raising the profile of the Foundation in the community.

The Foundation has come a long way since 1986, and we thank Yvonne for her hard work, enthusiasm and commitment in laying the ground work for the Foundation’s future successes.
