Board of Directors

Michael is a District of West Vancouver council member. From 1982 to 1990, Michael was chairman of the Finance and Facilities Committees of the West Vancouver School Board and also served as Board Chair in 1985/86. Michael has also served on the North Shore Union Board of Health and on several Municipal Committees.

A West Vancouver resident of 50 years, he graduated from West Vancouver High School and the University of British Columbia. For the past 25 years, Michael has owned and managed M.R. Smith Limited, a wholesale petroleum supply company operating throughout the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley.
