Directors
Honorary Directors
In 2004, Lions Gate Hospital Foundation established Honorary Directorships a life-time distinction for former Directors of our Board. These Directors have demonstrated exemplary service during and after their terms of office.
Current and former Directors were invited to nominate those who had served a minimum of three consecutive years on the Board and who had shown extraordinary commitment to the Foundation through their personal fundraising efforts and financial commitment, committee participation, attendance at Board meetings, Foundation receptions and special events, recruitment of new committee volunteers and directors, and introducing new opportunities to the Foundation.
In 2008, the Honorary Directorships were expanded to include those who had provided exceptional (>$1 Million) financial support to the Foundation. The membership of this distinguished group will continue to grow bi-annually with new members to be announced at the Foundation's Report to the Community event in June.
